A new high-end production facility for IC Substrates is currently being built in Kulim, Malaysia. Sales Area Manager - Korea

 

We are looking for an experienced, self-driven and result-orientated Sales Area Manager to join our growing Global Sales Team. In this role, you will be responsible for sales activities in South Korea, including support and customer relationship management, budget and forecast planning. 

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Revenue responsibility in the assigned Sales area and coordination of relevant activities
  • Pricing and profit responsibilities in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Contract definition and review, pricing and price review in accordance with internal guidelines
  • Lead and supervise Sales team to develop new business opportunities and take overall responsibility for business development
  • Development of operational plans and sales strategies to provide short and long term budget plans
  • Build strong relationships with key decision makers and customers

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 5+ years experience in selling directly to customer in the market segments of Cellular Phone, Telecommunication, Instrumentation or Electronic Components
  • Proven success in penetrating and closing business with customers from the mentioned industries above
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including Executive and C-level
  • Skilled in conducting face-to-face presentations to customers, negotiating, closing sales and account management
  • In depth market and industry knowledge, with a track record of success in cultivating contacts with decision makers within both multinational and domestic major OEMs and EMS’s
  • Strong customer and market orientation with the ability to identify future trends and relationships
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel
