Chemical Specialist/ Engineer - PUT

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and compliance: Establish and enforce safety procedures for handling chemicals and ensure all operations comply with environmental and safety regulations.
• Documentation and reporting: Document processes, procedures, and findings, and present them to management and other stakeholders
• Optimize and monitor chemical consumption: Oversee processes to maximize usage, reduce waste, and ensure performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify & resolve problems that arise as in regards of chemical usage or chemical mix-up
• Performing Technical & Awareness Program Create training program for all working level.
• Lab Testing: Able to perform lab testing to confirm theory & hypothesis.
• Support Process Improvement – Support plant wide plant improvement program
• Support New Product trial & commissioning – Support NPI & New Make-up
• Other job assigned from superior.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering/ Applied Chemistry/ Industrial Chemistry or equivalent  
• Minimum 3-4 years experience as Chemical Engineer in substrate industry or Semiconductor Industry
• Experience in chemical supply, mixing & derivation.
• Attended any chemical related technical training
• Experience in handling chemical in high volume, fast paced & semiconductor industry.
• Must be able to interpret MSDS / TDS
• Experienced in handling highly hazardous chemical
• Monitor plant performance and process parameters
• Troubleshoot chemical or process-related issues 
• Experienced developing robust process flow and SOPs
