Director Project Management

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, high-impact programs across multiple sites and functions in order to achieve strategic business objectives by establishing robust governance, clear accountability, and disciplined execution management.
  • Translate Business Unit strategy into executable program roadmaps in order to accelerate growth, operational excellence, and profitability by aligning stakeholders on priorities, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria.
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional program teams in order to ensure integrated execution by driving collaboration between Operations, Technology Development, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, IT, and Commercial organizations.
  • Establish and maintain program governance structures, reporting systems, and escalation mechanisms in order to create transparency and enable timely executive decision-making through standardized performance management and risk management practices.
  • Drive operational and business transformation initiatives in order to improve cost, delivery, quality, and productivity performance by challenging existing processes and facilitating sustainable organizational change.
  • Develop business cases and investment proposals in order to support strategic decision-making by analyzing market opportunities, technology trends, customer requirements, financial implications, and resource needs.
  • Mentor and develop program and project managers in order to strengthen organizational capability by implementing best practices, coaching methodologies, and professional development pathways.
  • Manage strategic stakeholder relationships in order to secure organizational alignment and commitment by proactively communicating program status, risks, achievements, and required decisions to senior leadership.
  • Lead selected strategic customer, technology, ramp-up, or operational excellence programs with Business Unit visibility.
  • Support the establishment and continuous improvement of a Business Unit-wide project and program management framework.
  • Act as a sponsor and escalation partner for critical projects experiencing significant performance, schedule, or resource challenges.
  • Identify and deploy semiconductor and advanced electronics manufacturing best practices to enhance program execution and operational performance.
  • Facilitate alignment between regional and global organizations to maximize cross-site collaboration and resource utilization.
  • Drive organizational readiness for future technology introductions, operational transitions, and manufacturing expansions.
  • Promote data-driven decision-making through the use of program KPIs, dashboards, analytics, and structured performance reviews.
  • Contribute to portfolio prioritization, resource balancing, and strategic planning activities.
  • Represent program interests in executive reviews and major customer engagements when required.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Your Profile

  • Graduate degree in applicable area of expertise (Engineering, Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Physics, Business Engineering, or related disciplines)
  • 10+ years of proven experience in project, program, or portfolio management within an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in semiconductors, substrates, advanced packaging, PCB manufacturing, or advanced electronics industries
  • Demonstrated experience leading large, cross-functional programs involving multiple sites and international teams
  • Proven track record of delivering business-critical initiatives with measurable operational and financial impact
  • Recognized certifications such as PMP, PgMP, MSP®, PRINCE2, or equivalent program management qualifications are strongly preferred
  • Strong leadership and influence capabilities within matrixed, multicultural organizations
  • Advanced knowledge of program management, portfolio governance, risk management, and organizational change management
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor, substrate, PCB, or advanced manufacturing business environments
  • Excellent analytical, financial, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
  • Strong stakeholder management and conflict-resolution capabilities
  • Ability to drive accountability and performance in complex cross-functional environments without direct authority
  • High resilience, adaptability, and ownership mindset in fast-changing business environments
