Environment, Health & Safety Technician (EHS)

Your Responsibilities

During Construction Phase:

• Assist to EHS Engineer, for safe operation on the regular safety inspection work (daily safety inspection and etc.)
• During safety inspection on-site, timely stop and correct EHS violations, and report unsafe conditions
• On-site supervise high risk works, e.g. hot work, work at height, confined space work, craning work, etc
• Assist on the EHS policy promotion and implementation
• Assist on occupational health monitoring, environmental monitoring work
• Other Job assignment from EHS Manager, EHS Engineer and EHS Supervisor

During Setup & Manufacturing Phase:

• Assist to EHS Manager, EHS Engineer and EHS Supervisor for safe operation on the regular safety inspection work (daily safety inspection, weekly cyanide area check, etc.)
• Regular check of EHS related ERT facilities (including emergency shower, first-aid kit, ERT cart, etc.) and keep it in good condition, and also maintain the inspection record
• During safety inspection on-site, timely stop and correct EHS violations, and report unsafe conditions
• On-site supervise high risk works, e.g. hot work, work at height, confined space work, craning work, etc. And maintain work permit record
• Following EHS work permit rule, finish on-site check and work permit sign-off before work for certain high risk works (mainly for hot work, confined space work, and craning work)
• Passed ERT training to be a qualified ERT, and take part into the activities of ERT, like real case response, fire evacuation drill and first-aid exercise; and lead certain ERT training like PPE, ERT tools, and fire extinguisher/hydrant training and practice
• Assist on the EHS policy promotion and implementation
• Assist on occupational health monitoring, environmental monitoring work
• Other Job assignment from EHS Manager, EHS Engineer and EHS Supervisor

Your Profile

• Diploma or Certificates in related field
• Minimum 3 years' working experience in manufacturing industry
• Basic knowledge of safety management
• Basic knowledge of computer works
• Good Communication Skills

• Strong problem solving skills, good analytical skills

• Able to work independently, minimum supervision, dedicated, results oriented, hardworking and able to work under pressure
