Junior Engineer Technology Development (R&D)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development, evaluation, qualification, and implementation of new products, technologies, materials, equipment, and manufacturing processes to meet project objectives and technology roadmap requirements.
• Assist in new product introduction (NPI), process qualification, technology transfer, and production implementation activities.
• Conduct experiments, collect and analyze technical data, and prepare reports to support engineering decisions and project execution.
• Participate in feasibility studies, process improvement projects, and troubleshooting activities to enhance product quality, yield, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to support technology development and ensure projects are completed within timelines.
• Assist in establishing process parameters, specifications, work instructions, and quality control measures to ensure stable and reliable manufacturing processes.
• Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives using engineering and statistical tools.
• Maintain technical documentation, qualification records, and project reports in accordance with company requirements.
• Learn and apply engineering methodologies, problem-solving techniques, and best practices to support technology development activities.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related technical disciplines.

• Internship, research, or project experience in semiconductor, PCB, electronics manufacturing, or R&D environments will be an added advantage.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and cross-functional environment.
• Detail-oriented with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of engineering and statistical tools such as DOE, SPC, Minitab, JMP, FMEA, or 7 QC Tools is an added advantage.
• Positive attitude, initiative, and continuous improvement mindset.
