Material Planner

     Your Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) based on production schedules and customer forecast.
• Highlight the material shortage risk in advance.
• Responsible for maintaining and supporting daily SAP/MES operations, including lot transactions, BOM/PN updates, yield/scrap data, and system setups to ensure smooth production execution.
• Update calculation method /logic according to production LT and consumption to calculate demand time and Qty.
• Ensure timely PR release and coordinate with Purchasing on PO issuance. 
• Monitor material coverage and highlight shortages or risks proactively. 
• Verify material availability for HVM and non-HVM demand, push Purchasing for ETA updates. 
• Track and escalate material issues (e.g., shortages, delays, quality) impacting build plans. 
• Optimize inventory: manage slow-moving, near-expiry, and aging stock with mitigation plans. 
• Provide regular material status updates to Production, Planning, and Demand Planning. 
• Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system updates. 
• Collaborate with Purchasing for delivery schedules, pull-ins, pushouts, and recovery actions. 
• Support NPI material readiness and participate in risk assessments for material changes. 
• Drive planning improvements and establish material visibility through reports.
• Analyze demand vs supply gaps and propose recovery actions.
• Prepare material status reports, shortage lists, and weekly KPI updates.
• Expired material management and risk assessment on the near to be expired material with mitigation plan.
• Drive quick problem resolution with Purchasing, Warehouse, Engineering, and QA.
• Escalate critical risks and work with purchasing for mitigation.
• Identify the material expired risk.
• Material change risk of assessment.

     Your Profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• More than 5 years experience in msterial planning or supply is preferred.
• Familiar with ERP/MES systems (SAP/Oracle) is an advantage.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Required to support weekend duty on a rotational basis.
