Quality Metrology System Engineer

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Design Product Measurement: Develop product measurement designs to meet both customer and internal requirements
  • Collaborate with Data Management Team: Work closely with the Data Management Team to create statistical and analytical tools, ensuring their widespread adoption within the organization
  • Automate Data Collection: Implement automated data collection processes for each product
  • Define Success Criteria: Establish measurable success and performance criteria
  • Implement Metrology Control Systems: Create and execute metrology control systems
  • Ensure Tool Compliance: Oversee the operation of measurement tools within the established control system
  • Metro system plant to plant proliferation
  • Support Metrology Roadmap: Assist in developing and implementing the metrology roadmap
  • Troubleshoot Metrology Tools: Provide support for problem-solving related to metrology tools
  • Advise Engineers: Offer guidance to engineers on aspects such as Design of Experiments (DOEs), sampling plans, and hypothesis testing
  • Conduct Comprehensive Training: Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs

 

Your Profile

  • Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Microelectronics / Mechatronics / Semiconductor Technology, Material science) or equivalent
  • Min 2 years of experience in/as operations/quality/production/ engineering experiences in semiconductor manufacturing preferably in Metrology and Vision Process, however fresh grad welcome to apply
  • Solid Scientific Foundation: A strong background in Statistics and Metrology, specifically the Science of Measurement
  • Practical Data Analysis: Experience applying statistical data analysis, analytical, and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Physics and Measurement Principles: A robust understanding of the physics behind measurement principles
  • Statistical Software Proficiency: Proficient in using statistical software packages such as JMP, including script development
  • Programming Skills: Basic programming skills in Java
  • Big Data Experience: Familiarity with computational algorithm design and handling large data volumes (Big Data)
  • Personal Attributes: Energetic, dynamic, proactive, committed, positive, and capable of lateral thinking with reasoned decision-making abilities
  • Six Sigma Knowledge: Experience with Six Sigma methodologies is a valuable asset
