To enhance our successful Human Resources Team in AT&S Malaysia in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah, we are looking for a passionate

 

Payroll Specialist

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for local and expatriate employees, ensuring accuracy and timelines

  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity

  • Calculate wages, bonuses and deductions

  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve and discrepancies

  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations

  • Prepare and submit required payroll reports

  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations

  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations

  • Administer compensation and benefits plans

  • Conduct periodic audits of the payroll system to ensure compliance

  • Analyze compensation policies, government regulations, and prevailing wage rates to develop competitive compensation plans

  • Participate in compensation surveys to analyze the company's competitive position

  • Prepare reports and recommendations to inform compensation strategies

  • Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current law and regulations

  • Assist in the development of incentive programs and commission structures

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master in Business, Administration, HR Management or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Payroll, preferably in a manufacturing company

  • Good knowledge of the local labor law and taxation topics

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role

  • In-depth knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance

  • Familiarity with payroll software and MS Office suite

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
