Quality Engineering (Backend) - Team Lead/ Section Head

As Quality Engineering – Team Lead/ Section Head, your main responsibility is to ensure your area compliance with procedures throughout the process for production, Engineering, maintenance, quality and related departments. In addition, you are leading a team of Quality Engineers and technicians and report directly to Quality Engineering Manager. Deliver good product quality that meet customer requirement with zero quality issue escapee.  Monitor and drive internal technical team for good process and product quality parameter control and stability.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of Quality engineers and technicians to oversee entire process modules Quality system, Quality Control and Issue
• Supervise quality engineers/ technician; plan, coordinate and follow up daily quality activities in your process module
• Coaching & develop quality engineer’s/technicians’ technical skills /knowledge and soft skill in order the team has enough competency in their tasks/ duties
• Main contact person representing modules Quality Engineering to liaise with other functional department like Production, PE, NPI, Maintenance etc
• Key person to lead and drive your process modules quality improvement plan and quality stability within your team and other functional teams
• Communicate customer expectation/specification requirement/Quality complaint within the team; work on customer satisfaction improvement
• Support department quality manager to achieve quality improvement project, quality objective/ target    
• Support other task assigned by superior

Your Profile

• Possess bachelor degree/ master degree in engineering or Sciences field or equivalent
• At least 10 years related working experience & preferable 3 years’ experience in people management role in HVM Quality
• Control or Process engineering or similar field in Electronics, PCB or Semiconductor Industries
• Work experience in Assembly, Film lamination, Wet Etching, Plating process, test and Visual inspection would be added advantages.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PPT)  
• Knowledge & experience in ISO90001 quality audit/ VDA6.3/6.5 audit; SPC; Statistic tool JMP or Minitab; FMEA; Control Plan; MSA
• Strong quality mindset; Independent, good communication and team work orientated person
