Section Manager Security Operation & Investigation
Your Responsibilities
• Assisting country Head of Security & Loss Prevention (HSLP) to develop and implement site security concept, policies, protocols and procedures.
• Review & update the SOPs periodic to ensure updated.
• Responsible for the efficient and effective supervision of daily security operations & loss prevention of the company premises on a 24 x 7days basis.
• Ensure firewall procedure and protocols are implemented to secure customers IP and expertise is confined in the respective plant/building.
• Supports all aspects of the company`s intellectual property program, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments at the property to include EHS/SAFETY audits, incident tracking, and the hazard process related Security Dept.
• Conducts weekly inspections of security lighting, door access systems, fire alarms and all secure entrances and doors within the building.
• Conducts regular security & safety inspections, investigates security threats and breaches.
• Write comprehensive security reports.
• Coordinate systematically outsourced security team & sub-ordinates when responding to emergencies situations/alarms, Work Place Violence (WPV), Authorities’ Raids as well as assisting plant Emergency Response Team (ERT).
• Main support for plant ERT execution during emergencies. Work closely with EHS/ERT Commander to lead, control crowd and secure site during emergency.
• Act with integrity and trust, modeling behavior that respect our employees, peers and customers in accordance with the core values of our company.
• Attend meetings, professional seminars such as TAPA FSR, Loss Prevention Skills, Security Technologies, or conferences to keep abreast of changes in executive legislative directives or new technologies.
• Supervising outsourced security team, develop with outsource management on documented and systematic recruiting process, training program, performance review and ROI.
• Developing effective deployment, allocating tasks and monitoring outsource security personnel (SA & Supv) performance periodically.
• Develop tactics and strategies to manage and deploy effectively overall sub-ordinate and outsource security team to meet company’s security and loss prevention objectives.
• Establish and implement Site Security SOP and Policies to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors in accordance with company policies, rules and regulations.
• Work as a team with Security System Section Manager effectively on Integrated Security Systems such as CCTV, VMS, Access Control System, Emergency Door Alarm, Biometric System, Key Management, Boom Gates and Badging System.
• Ensure Security ID Badge being issued timely with proper access granted.
• Develop with HSLP on Security Induction Training for new hires, Refresher Training (Online) and create awareness on Security & LP aspects by having proper email communication & strategy.
• Bi-annually audits, assessments on loss prevention and recommend corrective measures to department management (mainly critical departments) on security incidents/findings /gaps as part of theft and loss prevention initiatives.
• Investigation Security Cases such as Theft/Missing, WPV, misused company properties, serious security violations together with HR to come out with CA & disciplinary action to avoid recurrence.
• Establish and maintain liaison with relevant government agencies (Police, Anti-Drug Agency & Fire brigade Depts.) in Lunas/KHTP/District/State Levels for security and safety purposes.
• Establish and maintain network within the KITA – KCSC of security heads for exchanging security intelligence and latest sec information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by HSLP such as assisting Sports & Recreational activities, etc.
Your Profile
• Bachelor or Diploma in science, economics or equivalent education with experience working as a Security Ops Manager & Investigation lead more than 5 years.
• 15 years’ experience and more with physical security, workplace safety, investigations and security systems technology with a minimum of 5 years at a regional/site security manager.
• Extensive knowledge of fire prevention, safety, and security operations.
• Conducts risk management audits and good skills in asset loss investigations.
• Availability to respond to security alerts outside of business hours.
• Respond to medical emergencies, bomb threats, fire alarms, or intrusion alarms, following ERT activities.
• Analyze and evaluate security operations to identify risks or opportunities for improvement.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines consistently.
• Must strictly comply with the standards, policies and procedures outlined.
• Must work collaboratively with fellow employees, treating all clients, both internal and external with dignity and respect at all times.
