IT Operations Engineer - Service Delivery

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor and control all running Client related IT infrastructure and services related to client devices and their connectivity.
  • Responsible for performing the ongoing routine activities associated with the client infrastructure components mentioned above as well as focus on integrating new solutions provided by IT Infrastructure to fulfil new business requirements while maintaining operational stability.
  • Responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of operational procedures and thus the smooth running of the mentioned IT Infrastructure as laid out in the respective service level agreement, analysing and solving incidents, roll out of updates/upgrades, refresh lifecycles as well as implementing changes.
  • Pick up and prioritize Service Requests and Incidents and resolve/escalate them as per the procedure and SLA commitments.
  • Process release/change management related roll outs for updates/upgrades/replace or new client applications /devices as per the time schedule of such projects.
  • Maintain / process documentations & update CMDB related to core & client infrastructure & communication.
  • Support IT Operations in projects related to installation /configuration of new/relocation of IT infrastructure.

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent. 

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in/as Desktop/Laptop Administrator / Service desk support.

  • Basic knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, IIS, ISA, Anti-virus, mail and collobration applications. 

  • Basic knowledge on LAN / WLAN / WAN / FW / MPLS / Internet technologies.

  • Excellent Know-how / understanding & troubleshooting of MS Operating systems and office suite applications.

  • Troubleshooting & Implementation skills on LAN network infrastructure related to endpoint cabling and others well.

  • Excellent written and verbal Communication skills.

  • Quick learner and good team player.

  • Mobiles Devices, Printers & Scanners Administration / Production IT support for connectivity. 
    Knowledge in Linux OS / Cisco Call Manager / IP Phones / Mobile Device Management / Cisco WebEx  / SCCM / Remote support will have added advantages.
