Once the commercial operation commences by the end of 2024, the Kulim production site will focus on ABF substrate solutions for the semicon industry. Supplier Development Specialist – Global Supply Chain


Your Responsibilities

  • Supporting other Supply Chain Functions in reactive/proactive Development of Suppliers and Supply Chain partners
  • Solution-based planning and execution of Supplier Development Programs and Projects in cross-functional teams within AT&S and external Suppliers from the aspects of cost/delivery/sustainability/technology/digitalization and others
  • Continuous improvement workshops with suppliers for lead time/cycle time reduction, and cost down idea generation
  • Lead continuous improvement project with supplier with lean tools, such as Run@Rate/VSM/Waste reduction, and so on
  • Ensuring valuable contribution to relevant AT&S global development programs by enriching, developing and empowering the AT&S Supplier Base
  • Acting as the global owner of key Supplier Developments for the most challenging Supply Chains
  • Support SDM for the AT&S Supplier Development Strategy and Roadmap
  • Regular Reporting of defined KPIs to the supplier development manager
  • Other Job assignments from Supplier development manager


Your Profile

  • Bachelor Degree in engineering or applicable technical field from recognized institution
  • Minimum 3+ years’ work experience in supplier management functions (preferably in the electronics industry)
  • Project experience by leading cross functional teams (Multi-culture). Experience in hosting workshop or organizing the training as the trainer is highly preferred
  • Know-how in lean six sigma tools in terms of theory and practice, lean six sigma belt certification preferred
  • Full English proficiency written and oral
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Computer skills – MS Office Package (Word, Excel, SAP, MES)
  • Willingness to travel (once worldwide travelling regulations change)
  • A structured, result-oriented and reliable work style with willingness to take ownership
