Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Resposibility:

• Work with Purchasing/Commodity teams on supplier sourcing, selection, and evaluation.

• Conduct supply chain risk assessments to ensure reliability and safety.

• Lead supplier audits, qualification, and performance monitoring using systems (SAP, Lotus Notes, IQS).

• Act as the main communication link between suppliers and internal/external stakeholders.

• Drive system improvements and continuous quality programs to reduce cost and raise standards.

• Manage supplier development initiatives and report progress.

• Approve and release qualified materials/products.

• Monitor and report supplier quality performance indicators.

• Provide training for internal teams and suppliers.

• Support compliance with standards (IATF 16949, ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001, QC080000, PPAP).

• Set priorities, ensure commitments are met, and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Carry out additional tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirement:

• Technical degree (Bachelor or above).

• 6+ years’ experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, or Supply Chain roles.

• Knowledge of ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO18001, IATF16949).

• Familiar with automotive tools: APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC.

• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

• Skilled in statistical and quality tools.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Lotus Notes.

• Willing to travel worldwide.
