Training Manager - Operations

 

We are looking for a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Training Manager – Operations, willing to relocate to Malaysia beginning 2023 to train our next generation technical personnel in our new substrate-plant in the Kulim High Tech Park. This position will require a time commitment of three years where you will be responsible for prioritizing and planning of required trainings, as well as defining, coordinating, executing and evaluating highly technical content trainings.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Establishing and maintaining a training system including a description of required skill level per position for all white collar operational positions 
  • Perform TNA (training needs analysis) between current and required competences 
  • Create training program and prepare/collating training material and handouts
  • Designing and implement a training organization structure within the Malaysian Plant operation
  • Interface to HR for operational Learning & Development topics
  • Create and maintain a reporting system for development progress and skill status of staff
  • Methodical coaching of trainees

 

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in a training capacity / trainer or coaching coordinating role in related industry preferred
  • Technical background (higher education school and above) preferably with experience in related industry
  • 5+ years of experience in HR / training function in electronic/ semicon industry 
  • Experience in quality standards and management systems
  • Statistical background with analytical and coaching skills paired with PCB/IC substrate relevant process knowledge 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills combined with high intercultural and social competence
  • Ability to take on responsibility and work independently
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (preference given to candidates with 2nd language E.G. Chinese, Malay) 
  • Must be able to travel to Chongqing, China for on job training about 1-3 years
