Waste Water Treatment Specialist

Your Responsibilities

• Ensure the operation of waste water system meeting all internal, external (if applicable), customer and regulatory requirements.

• Accountable to manage the waste water system’s availability and reliability as to ensure that the equipment and system able to meet it defined performance.

• Define and execute effective maintenance plan for waste water system.

• Lead equipment and/or process troubleshooting in permanent consideration of safety and quality requirements.

• Identified critical spare part availability and work closely with Purchasing Department for the spare part and supplier management.

• Coordination and execution for continuous training for employees within the department.

• Perform of process designs and preparing technical proposals for engineering studies and tenders.

• Coordinate with End-user, Hook-up engineer and other related counterpart and manage new projects or expansion of new system/capacities as to meeting the defined schedule.

• Initiate, setup, manage and continuous optimize Precious Metal/Waste Reclaim and other Energy/Resources Saving Project.

• Identify risks in responsible area.

• Escalate and define mitigation plan to the risk identified

     Your Profile

• Bachelor degree from recognized institution major in Chemical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Science/Applied Chemistry or related technical field.

• 3-5 years related experience in operation and maintenance of waste water system particular in PCB, Solar Cell Manufacturing, or similar industry.

• Familiar with waste water treatment standards, code, specifications, permitting and other regulatory process in Malaysia.

• Sound knowledge in principals for mechanical and electrical devices (pumps, blowers, motors, VFD, controls & automation instruments, etc.)

• Experience in new system setup and expansion.

• Familiar in system testing and acceptance procedures.

• Competent person/ certified environmental professional in related field.
