Customer Quality Engineering

 

 

 

In your role, you act as the key link between customers and the plant for all quality-related topics. You drive structured complaint handling, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure transparent communication to achieve high customer satisfaction and continuous quality improvement.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and coordinate 8D processes for customer complaints, ensuring timely submission and effective corrective actions
  • Act as the single point of contact for customers regarding quality-related topics and inquiries
  • Conduct root cause analyses and provide rapid on-site support (within 48 hours when required)
  • Maintain continuous communication with customers or AQM for complaints, deviations, and general requests
  • Support global AT&S sites in complaint handling and align with local customer requirements
  • Train and guide internal teams on customer-specific quality standards and reject analysis
  • Represent the company during customer visits, audits, and quality discussions
  • Monitor, report, and ensure completion of quality actions, including documentation and certification (e.g. EN10204)

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Completed technical education with proven experience in quality engineering or a comparable role
  • Strong knowledge of PCB manufacturing, quality management, and statistical methods
  • Proven experience in customer complaint management and structured problem-solving (e.g. 8D)
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and German (written and spoken)
  • Confident in working with SAP and MS Office tools
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to represent company interests professionally
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%)
