Hardware Development Engineer -  (f/m/d)

As a Hardware Development Engineer, you will be working in a motivated team to develop schematics, circuit board layouts and/or prepare special drawings for our key customers. A working day for you will be rich in variety where you will either focus on a single project or work on different topics. You will be responsible to work on PCB layouts in different design suites where direct customer interaction and self-organization help you work efficiently.

Your Responsibilities

• Create PCB layout with focus on AT&S specific technologies e.g. embedded components based on schematics or circuit diagrams, that includes generation of all necessary production data (Production data & drawings, documentation and related)

• Develop electronic circuits based on customer requirements (may include SPICE simulation)

• Maintain EDA library and related design rules

• Provide technical support for other departments within AT&S

• Support continuous improvement of used process flows, toolsets and related documentation

Your Profile

• Engineering degree in Advanced Electronics (BAC, Master or HTL)

• 3-5 years of experience in the development of electronics (schematics, PCB design/layout & documentation)

• Profound knowledge of circuit development

• Experience working with EDA tools (Altium Designer, Siemens xPedition, Cadence Allegro)

• Know-how of PCB manufacturing and assembly processes

• Certified Interconnect Developer (CID) Certification would be an advantage

• Experience with Windows, Linux would be a plus, with knowledge of SAP 

• Self-driven with excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and project management skills

• Positive attitude and intercultural awareness

• High solution orientation and technical understanding with strong customer orientation

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 45.000,- Euro.
