Head of Controlling

 

In your role, you will drive effective cross-functional collaboration and provide reliable financial leadership by overseeing reporting, forecasting, compliance, strategic planning, cost initiatives, government grant processes, and lead the Controlling Team.

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and develop the Controlling Team, fostering a positive culture and high-performance mindset
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to enable informed business decisions
  • Partner closely with Operations, Sales, Purchasing, and other business functions to support business objectives
  • Identify opportunities to improve profitability, optimize costs, and enhance overall business performance
  • Provide meaningful financial insights and recommendations to support management decision-making
  • Support strategic projects through business case evaluations, ROI simulations, and investment analyses
  • Oversee OPEX and CAPEX performance while promoting continuous improvement across controlling activities

 

Your Profile

 

  • Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in Operations Controlling, ideally within a manufacturing environment
  • Solid leadership experience with the ability to develop, motivate, and inspire teams
  • Strong expertise in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
  • Advanced SAP (FI/CO, BW, BPC) knowledge
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate financial data into business insights and recommendations
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Business-oriented approach with a strong understanding of operational processes
  • Strong ownership mentality with a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Fluent in German and English
