Head of Department IT Service Delivery (f/m/d)

 

As the Head of Department IT Service Delivery, you will be responsible for ensuring the ongoing routine activities associated with the operation of infrastructure components and applications with a focus on Production IT. You will ensure the consistent execution of operational procedures and smooth running of all IT Applications and Infrastructure as laid out in the respective service level agreement (e.g. Backup/Restore of productions equipment).

 

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage all Service Desk employees and procedures, from taking in tickets, resolving them or routing them to 2nd level support to reporting.

  • Ensure adherence of the defined problem, incident and change management processes and contribute to improvement of these processes

  • Discuss service levels performance and improvement action plans with senior IT Management, reporting on the status of operations, issues and their impact, and proactively recommending solutions

  • Ensure the adherence of defined problem, incident and change management processes

 

Your Profile

  • Degree in Information Technology or related field
  • Possessing a very good general skillset in IT-Services / Expert knowledge in IT-Services
  • Expert knowledge and very good general skillset in IT-Services
  • Excellent Process Knowhow (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Release Management)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in/as IT-Management
  • Good leadership and motivational skills
  • Experience in working in international environments and leading international teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as intercultural competence
  • Excellent conceptual and analytical skills paired with strategic and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 70.000,- Euro.
