IT Infrastructure – Server & Computer / Datacenter Specialist

Ensure high availability and security for enterprise compute and datacenter systems. As a Server & Compute / Datacenter Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation, optimization, and security of enterprise compute platforms and datacenter infrastructure. You will manage physical and virtual servers, hypervisors, storage integration, and datacenter hardware to guarantee performance and reliability for business-critical applications. This role includes lifecycle management, patching, capacity planning, and disaster recovery readiness in close collaboration with global IT teams

Your Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management & Optimization
• Design, operate, and maintain server, virtualization, and datacenter infrastructure
• Support designated compliance workloads in on-prem and hybrid environments
• Manage OS platforms, hypervisors, and compute capacity
• Implement hardening, patching, and lifecycle management standards
• Ensure system availability, performance, and compliance
• Support audits and security reviews related to infrastructure
• Document architecture, configurations, and procedures

Your Profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or Network Engineering
• Proven experience in a similar position
• Strong experience with server, virtualization, and datacenter technologies
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and compliance requirements
• Experience in regulated or high-availability environments preferred
• Structured, reliable, and detail-oriented working style
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
