Technical/ ECM Consultant (f/m/d)


In this role you define and maintain IT Infrastructure and IT Applications in alignment with IT-Strategy like guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions. In addition, you manage IT projects in the are of ECM based on PM process and standards and report to the Manager IT Applications & Technology.


Your Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage AT&S Enterprise Content Management (ECM) application infrastructure

  • Define detailed IT Applications / IT Infrastructure / Data Management -solutions or Data guidelines and procedures as well as requirements and solutions in the field of ECM (SharePoint and OpenText).

  • Build or customize solutions incl. testing and rollout/implementation in compliance with the change process

  • Verify solutions in a Proof-of-concept environment and support the IT Architect designing the solution

  • Coordinate the required concepts to ensure go-live and to hand-over solution to IT operations

  • Define required operational and process documentation

  • Coordinate an gather the requirements together with the functional departments and deal with the selection of vendors, suppliers and applications in the area of ECM

  • Plan and Manage the ECM strategy in regard to Document creation, storage and archiving, collaboration 

  • Complete the communication with internal and external parties and ensure the project budget, effort estimation and accounting

  • Initiate IT projects according internal guidelines (usage of Planview / Clearline)

  • Plan and manage IT projects different sizes in an agile approach (Scrum)

  • Manage project risks and mitigations


Your Profile

  • Degree in Computer Science/ Software engineering/ IT Management or minimum of 10 to 15 years work experience in this area
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience as Technical Consultant or Requirements Engineer
  • Expert knowlegde in the area of ECM especially SharePoint and/or Opentext
  • Solid Experience in Project Management like managing or designing and defining IT projects
  • Hands on experience with skills about project management (PMA cert. )or Scrum/agile PM methodologies and tools is advantageous
  • Experience with usage of project management tools like (PlanView, MS Project, or equal) is beneficial
  • Curiosity for new topics in IT and IT Applications in relation to ECM and other topics
  • Strong customer orientation, managing skills and time management
  • Intercultural awareness and strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Analytical thinking and problem resolution skills as well as organizational talent 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Our salary packages are competitive, take individual qualifications, and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labor agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 60.000,- Euro.
