Inhouse Consultant (Strategy, Data & Transformation)

In this role, you support strategic and transformation-related projects through data analysis, business case development, structured problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration. You help convert complex topics into clear insights, translate strategies into actionable workstreams, and provide analytical transparency to accelerate decision-making. This position is ideal for curious, analytical early-career talents who want to shape the future of a global manufacturing and technology company.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive high‑impact strategic and transformation projects across AT&S’ global business areas (Mobile Devices & Substrates, Automotive & Aerospace, Industrial, Medical, High‑Performance Computing for AI)
• Shape the future of the semiconductor ecosystem by working on cutting‑edge topics in IC substrates, advanced packaging, and AI‑driven electronics
• Act as an internal management consultant: structure complex challenges, design strategies, and lead implementation to deliver measurable business results
• Work on global, cross‑functional initiatives spanning innovation, operational excellence, organizational transformation, and technology‑driven growth
• Collaborate with senior leaders and international teams across Austria, China, India, Malaysia, and beyond
• Apply advanced analytics and GenAI tools to elevate problem‑solving, scenario modeling, and decision support
• Gain deep technical understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and high‑end substrate technologies while driving strategic change 

Your Profile

• Academic background in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related fields; fluency in English (German desirable)
• 2–5 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or transformation roles with strong project ownership
• Proven ability to structure complex problems, build business cases, and deliver consulting‑grade analyses and recommendations
• Hands‑on experience applying AI and GenAI tools in business contexts (e.g., insight generation, automation, analysis acceleration)
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, including comfort with data modeling, scenario planning, and financial logic
• Ability to work in a global network and collaborate with senior stakeholders across cultures and functions
• A proactive, structured, and impact‑oriented mindset with the drive to turn strategy into implementation
