Integration Engineer (f/m/d)

In this role, you will design and optimize IC substrate fabrication processes, improve yield and stability, and lead advanced substrate integration. This position ensures efficient technology transfer, supports customer needs, and maintains compliance with industry standards, ultimately driving faster product development cycles and enhancing manufacturability.

Your Responsibilities

  • Process Integration & Development: Design and optimize process flows, troubleshoot anomalies, and collaborate with engineers.

  • Yield Improvement & Stability: Monitor data, implement corrective actions, and conduct risk assessments.

  • Advanced Substrate Integration: Lead packaging design and collaborate with partners for mass production.

  • Technology Transfer & Customer Support: Transfer new processes to manufacturing and provide technical guidance.

  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain records and ensure adherence to standards.

 

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related fields.

  • Over 3 years’ experience in a similar position in IC substrate or semiconductor industry.

  • Troubleshoot integration bottlenecks (e.g., contact resistance, defectivity).

  • Strong data analysis using statistical methods (DOE, failure mode analysis).

  • Proven knowledge in Six Sigma tools (SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, CP). CSP or Six Sigma/DFSS training is a plus.

  • Expert project management skills.

  • Familiar with MS Office, JMP, Minitab, SAP, APC, Space.

  • Fluent in written and oral English (German is an advantage).

  • Experience working with intercultural teams.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Open-minded and excellent team-working spirit.

  • Willingness to travel and stay abroad at one of our locations.
