Junior Engineer R&D

 

 

In your role, you will provide hands-on operational and technical support to the Research & Development (R&D) team, contributing to efficient laboratory operations and successful execution of experiments. You will play a key role in supporting engineers and scientists by preparing experiments, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate data collection and documentation. Your work will directly contribute to innovation efforts, particularly in PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) and RIE (Reactive Ion Etching) processes for PCB prototyping and knowledge development. Through your attention to detail and reliability, you will help maintain high laboratory standards and enable consistent, high-quality research outcomes.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

 

Prepare and set up laboratory equipment, materials, and samples to ensure smooth execution of R&D experiments

Conduct routine experiments and measurements to support ongoing research projects under guidance

Assist with PVD and RIE processes, contributing to prototyping and technical learning objectives

Collect, analyze, and document experimental data to support accurate reporting and decision-making

Perform basic data evaluation and summarize results for the R&D team

Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure operational reliability and compliance with standards

Ensure adherence to safety regulations and laboratory procedures at all times

Maintain clear, structured documentation of all experimental activities and results

 

 

Your Profile

 

 

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in a technical field is an advantage

Initial experience (0–2 years) in a laboratory, technical, or R&D support environment preferred

Basic understanding of laboratory testing, measurements, and data collection methods

Familiarity with laboratory equipment and willingness to learn maintenance and calibration procedures

Willingness to work in cleanroom environment

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and documentation

Ability to follow instructions precisely and work effectively under supervision

Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
