Metrology Maintenance Engineer (f/m/d)
In your role you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of machinery, equipment and technical systems in the field of Metrology & Measurement equipment.
Your Responsibilities
- Planning, coordinating and conducting maintenance activities for production machinery and technical equipment in the field of Metrology
- Analyzing equipment malfunctions, conducting fault diagnostics and developing solution strategies to optimize Metrology equipment availability
- Implementing preventive maintenance programs and creating maintenance schedules to ensure smooth operation of Metrology equipment
- Creating and maintaining documentation, certification & compliance of procedures in the functional area according to quality standards, customer requirements & legal regulations.
- Collaborating closely with various departments, including Production, Engineering, Quality Assurance and Procurement, to optimize maintenance processes and to minimize production downtime
- Introducing new technologies and methods for continuous improvement of maintenance processes and equipment performance
- Providing training to Maintenance Technicians (shift team) for a robust shift coverage
Your Profile
- Technical education (HTL, University of Applied Sciences, University) in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or a comparable field
- Professional experience in Metrology equipment, ideally in maintenance of Metrology equipment
- Solid knowledge of classical maintenance methods, fault analysis, reliability management and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
- Experience with maintenance-related software and MS Office applications
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset along with strong communication skills
- Team-oriented, assertive, and highly self-motivated professional
- Fluency in English, German language skills are an advantage
