Project Manager Plant Engineering

 

 

 

In your role as a Project Manager in Plant Engineering, you will lead and execute engineering projects within the plant environment, ensuring delivery in line with business and technical requirements. Acting as a key interface between engineering, operations, and stakeholders, you will drive efficient project execution, foster collaboration, and contribute to continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and manage plant engineering projects or work packages, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives
  • Analyze project requirements, identify risks and root causes, and implement effective mitigation strategies
  • Apply standardized project management methodologies, tools, and governance frameworks
  • Develop, maintain, and adapt project plans to meet changing technical and operational conditions
  • Coordinate cross-functional project teams and stakeholders, ensuring strong alignment and collaboration
  • Monitor project performance, including timelines, costs, quality, and KPIs
  • Ensure clear communication, reporting, and presentations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute innovative solutions within Plant Engineering

 

Your Profile

 

  • Technical education in mechanical, electrical, or semiconductor engineering (e.g., HTL, Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), or an equivalent qualification
  • Relevant professional experience in project management, depending on your educational background
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and governance processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and independent working style
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and work effectively in complex environments
  • High level of ownership, resilience, and adaptability
  • Hands-on mentality with strong self-organization and a commitment to delivering results
