Project Manager R&D - Proof of Concept Lab (f/m/d)

In this role, you will lead the Proof of Concept Lab, manage tasks to minimize risks and ensure adherence to rules. You will develop tools with suppliers for stable processes and shared capabilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with experts to bridge technology gaps, and implement ticket systems and budgeting for clear prioritization and maintenance.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the Proof of Concept Lab, ensuring the execution of work tasks according to plans and within allocated budgets to minimize development risks for AT&S.
• Drive the further development of defined tools through strong collaboration with tool suppliers.
• Foster strong and close cooperation with technical experts to develop innovative solutions.
• Implement ticket systems for clear prioritization of order status, and manage the budgeting process for maintenance work and tool upgrades.

Your Profile

• Graduate degree in physics, chemistry, mechatronics or electronics- , telecommunication- , or medical engineering or equivalent professional career and relevant job experience.
• Decent Knowledge in at least one of the following areas:  PCB, IC-substrate and Semiconductor Packaging technologies, Semiconductors and related markets.
• Good knowledge in PCB manufacturing and processes. 
• Minimum 5 years as a people manager in Development or Manufacturing of technology, or an expert in electronics Industry.
• Ability to think customer-first and demonstrate entrepreneurial initiative.
• Open-minded, communicative, and capable of thinking outside the box, with a willingness to cooperate and lead.
• Willingness to travel abroad and continuously learn and evolve.
• Fluent in English, with excellent moderation, presentation skills.
