R&D Project Leader (f/m/d)

Process Modelling


We are looking for a R&D Project Leader that will be responsible for leading project teams on a global scale to develop new concepts for modeling and simulation of complex manufacturing processes for electronic equipment including budgeting and work package planning, in close alignment with our global manufacturing experts.


Your responsibilities

  • Representation of AT&S vis-à-vis towards internal and external parties in all project related aspects (customers, suppliers, partners, Business Units, funding agencies etc.)
  • Protection of IP (Intellectual Property) out of above mentioned development projects
  • Keeping an overview of all technological developments in and outside of AT&S in the greater area of the assigned project topics
  • Formulation and submission of funding applications nationally and internationally


Your Profile

  • Graduate degree in mathematics, data science, electronics, telecommunication, physics, mechatronics or equivalent professional career (e.g. career in PCB industry)
  • Good understanding of and experience with complex manufacturing environments (e.g. integrated manufacturing lines)
  • Experience in collection, handling and interpretation of large amounts of data and related databased modelling and prediction procedures 
  • Experience in Finite Elements modelling (CFD and/or structural modelling) appreciated
  • Advanced skills in project management
  • Open-minded, out-of-the-box thinker with strong intercultural competence
  • Full English and German proficiency written and oral
  • Willingness to travel abroad

Our salary packages are competitive and take individual qualifications and experience into consideration. 
In accordance with the Austrian collective labour agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 50.000,- Euro.
