Senior IT Solution Architect – CoE IT Infrastructure & Security

In your role, you will design end‑to‑end IT solutions that seamlessly combine infrastructure capabilities, security requirements, and business needs. As a key architectural expert, you ensure that our systems are robust, secure, scalable, and compliant. You act as a strategic connector between business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, and security functions-shaping sustainable and resilient IT services across the entire organization.

Your Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable end‑to‑end solution architectures across IT infrastructure.
• Translate business and technical requirements into feasible and secure solution designs.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles, security standards, and IT strategy.
• Lead infrastructure- and security‑relevant initiatives as the responsible solution architect.
• Create and maintain architecture artefacts such as diagrams and decision records.
• Embed security‑by‑design and compliance requirements into all solution concepts.
• Collaborate closely with Infrastructure, Cyber Security, OT, and Application teams.
• Support the handover of solutions into implementation and operations.

Your Profile

• Completed education in Computer Science, IT Security, Engineering, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in IT, Solution, or Infrastructure Architecture within international environments.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure architectures (data center, cloud, network, identity, platforms).
• Solid understanding of IT security principles and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS2, NIST, TISAX).
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills combined with stakeholder management strength.
• Structured, reliable, and detail‑oriented working style; Fluent in English; German is an advantage.
• Ability to balance architectural governance with practical implementation needs.
