Senior Project Leader - Quality Assurance and Product Compliance (m/f/d)

As Senior Project Leader - Quality and Product Compliance Management, you will manage technical product compliance within the organization globally. You will be responsible for product compliance strategy and UL management. You will act as a Quality Project Lead and create Project Quality Plan Concept following global recommended QMiP framework and guidelines, define and track product related quality and reliability targets and report Quality Gate process quality. You will plan, lead and document projects audits and ensure customer quality requirements are met within projects to ensure a smooth launch of the product.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage technical product compliance within AT&S globally 

• Contact for certification body regarding financial, technical and logistical topics

• Develop and improve product compliance strategy in alignment with the roadmap of new AT&S projects and products

• Represent one face to the certification bodies and ensure internal knowledge management

• Act as the single point of contact to UL and ensure global UL coordination and process ownership

• Participate in technical workgroups and panels related to applicable and future product standards

• Integrate global QMiP way of working and framework in all functions of the CTO office

• Act as a Quality Project Lead to lead and coordinate all quality related activities in the project

• Create Project Quality Plan Concept following globally recommended QMiP framework and guidelines

• Define and track product related quality- and reliability-targets in the development phase

• Participate in the project gate reviews and detect non-conformities and risks

• Continuously improve overall Project quality level and ensure smooth closure of projects

• Communicate, coordinate and align the work of other quality disciplines in the project team (e.g. CQM, Lab-QM, SQM, QE)

• Plan, lead and document customer and / or internal project audits based on internal AT&S and customer specific guidelines, questionnaires or requirements

• Ensure consistency of special characteristics through all relevant documents and tools

• Report the project quality status to the QMiP manager

Your Profile

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or similar from a Higher Technical College or University

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Quality Management and related tools and methods

• Experience in product compliance standards, e.g. UL94, UL796 and related IEC standard preferred

• Experience with certification bodies preferred

• Knowledge of Lean Management concepts and methodologies

• Excellent knowledge in quality management, statistical methods and quality tools like FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, PPAP, VDA

• Sound Knowledge of problem solving tools (8D, 5S, 7 QC, DMAIC, Six Sigma methodology)

• Knowledge and ability to work with the statistical software (e.g. Minitab)

• Knowledge and ability to perform quality audit of process and product

• Experience performing audit according to VDA 6.3 methodology or other is an advantage

• Ability to lead complex issues, effectively collaborate and convince other functions within a plant and on the different level

• Project Management skills

• Application of standard software and project management tools such as: SAP (ERP), MS Office, document management tools; knowledge of templates needed for professional project management

• Ability to communicate to an audience in an accurate, convincing and authentic way and to be able to prepare and present the essential facts for a specific (presentation) occasion

• Good analytical skills, integrated and interdisciplinary thinking and acting

• Ability to work independently and under pressure

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English

• Willingness to travel occasionally

Our salary packages are competitive and take individual qualifications and experience into consideration. In accordance with the Austrian collective labour agreement, we advise you that the minimum gross annual salary for this role is 53.000,- Euro.
