To enhance our successful Production Planning Team in Leoben, Austria, we are looking for a passionate

 

 

Specialist Production Planning & Line Control

 

 

 

In your role, you will monitor and optimize production plans, capacities, and priorities to ensure efficient operations and reliable customer delivery performance.

 

 

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze production volumes, schedules, and capacity utilization to ensure alignment with planning targets.
  • Monitor production performance and initiate corrective measures in case of deviations.
  • Develop recommendations to balance capacities, including additional or reduced shift requirements.
  • Coordinate production priorities and sequencing to support on-time delivery performance.
  • Optimize material flow, throughput, and work-in-progress (WIP) across production areas.
  • Provide planning-related information and maintain capacity-relevant master data.
  • Coordinate offload activities with internal and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Communicate potential delivery delays proactively and escalate critical issues when necessary.

 

 

Your Profile

 

  • Completed education in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, or a related technical field.
  • Alternatively, completed apprenticeship with several years of experience in a production or planning environment.
  • Experience in production planning and control is considered an advantage.
  • Good understanding of production processes, capacity planning, and material flow management.
  • Experience with SAP R/3, APO PP/DS, and MS Office applications.
  • Good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured way of working.
  • Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills and a business-minded approach.
