Supervisor Engineering TDI (f/m/d)

 

In this role you will lead a team of Engineers in Semiconductor Industries (IC Substrates). You will be responsible for a stable, high yield, low cost, and high throughput mechanical engineering process.

 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Align with other AT&S plants to specify required tool (SOW) & related tooling’s; Perform supplier evaluation and verify relate CAPEX

  • Enable equipment installation-, qualification, processes setup & training of shift engineering & maintenance (technicians & operators)

  • Apply process control & documentation and ensure process change management

  • Maintain the existing suppliers and develop potential new suppliers with screening and integration

  • Manage process cost reduction and efficiency improvement

  • Follow and proactively support yield roadmaps to manage YIP & plant targets

  • Ensure best practice within the process/area (5S/FMEA, lean production etc.)

  • Lead and guide a team of 8 engineers 

 

Your Profile: 

  • University Degree/ Higher Technical College in Material science, Mech-, Industrial engineering or Chemistry
  • 5+ years process engineering experience in IC-Substrate, Assembly, IC-Packaging or related industry; strong leadership skills to lead a team of 8 team members
  • Knowledge of project management, data analytics & design of experiments (DoE) with attention to details
  • Proven knowledge in Six Sigma tools like SPC, MSA, DOE, FMEA, 8D, 5Why, CP, etc
  • Willingness of working in cleanroom and over time
  • Willingness to travel and stay abroad for a certain time in one or our locations
  • Good communication and negotiation skills 
  • Experience in working with intercultural teams is preferred
  • Fluent written and oral English; German would be of advantage

Our attractive compensation package is based on market-oriented salaries, take individual qualifications and experience into consideration and is therefore significantly above the stated minimum salary.
