MANAGER ENGINEERING PROCESS

Your Responsibilities:

  • A PCB (Printed Circuit Board) manufacturing process engineering manager is a senior leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of the PCB manufacturing process & lead a team of engineers to ensure high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective production.
  • Crucial in bridging engineering, production, and quality assurance to produce high quality products through equipment, process controls and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation are compliant with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001).
  • Analyze production data using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools to drive process improvements.
  • Ensures that structured problem-solving techniques are used, and that adequate validation is performed for any issues being address or changes being made.
  • Implement robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address the root causes of process deviations and quality issues.
  • Conduct equipment and material evaluations for new process applications.
  • Create and maintain all process documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), FMEAs (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and control plans.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes and documentation are compliant with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality certifications (e.g., IPC, ISO 9001).

Your Profile:

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in related Engineering field, Masters will be a Plus.
  • Technical Expertise:10+ years of experience within a technical and/or production environment with deep knowledge of PCB fabrication, assembly processes (like SMT and wave soldering), and quality standards (like IPC-A-610).
  • Proficiency in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and DOE, Expertise in root cause analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and other data-driven problem-solving methods. 
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams, manage projects, and communicate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
