Senior Quality Manager in India (f/m/d)

As the Senior Quality Manager, working on a long-term assignment, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a unique and culturally rich environment. Located in the picturesque state of Karnataka, Nanjangud offers a blend of traditional Indian charm and modern industrial growth. This role is crucial in driving quality excellence and ensuring compliance with the highest industry standards. The successful candidate will lead the quality management team, overseeing all aspects of quality assurance, process improvement, and customer satisfaction. Your Responsibilities

• Lead the quality management functions within the plant, including Quality Engineering, Metrology, Labs, QMS, and QDM
• Ensure compliance with IATF16949/ISO 9000 standards and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Develop and implement quality methodologies and problem-solving techniques within the plant organization
• Represent the plant in all quality-related aspects with customers and third-party certification agencies
• Drive cost awareness within the quality team and implement strategies to reduce the cost of quality
• Act as the first level of decision-making for product deviations

Your Profile 

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• 5+ years of team leadership experience, preferably in the semiconductor or PCB industry
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification is preferred
• Proven ability to represent the company to external organizations, including customers and suppliers
• Strong analytical, leadership, and social skills
• Cross-cultural competence (experience with Indian culture will be a plus)
• Fluency in English
