Head of Sales Engineering


As Head of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for managing and leading the local Engineering team and act as the interface between local engineering resources and the Business Unit Engineering Heads to support entity’s sales performance and coordinate the interest of all stakeholders.


Your responsibilities

  • Aim to establish the “Best in class Technical Support Team” in order to achieve our Vision to become the first choice for advanced applications
  • Coordinate US customer technology requirements within the AT&S organization with regards to specific customer and market segment needs
  • Own and master engineering and operational excellence
  • Support, train and coach the engineering team by participating in and leading customer or prospect meetings; attract, retain, and develop highly skilled engineers
  • Oversee budgets, ensure resources are properly allocated and goals are met
  • Technical capability analysis of customer projects, technical plant allocation and promoting customer requirements within the AT&S organization
  • Ensure permanent evaluation on product and cost optimization



Your Profile

  • Technical degree (physics, electronics, electrical engineering) and good commercial understanding
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in the PCB Industry
  • Excellent communication skills and  intercultural awareness
  • Proven Project Management skills and ability to manage complex tasks and work under pressure
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving skills as well as organizational talent
  • Self-driven, proactive personality with hands on mentality and high customer orientation
  • Full English proficiency; German or Chinese language skills are an asset
  • Willingness to travel
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (US citizenship or Green Card)
