Application Engineering Manager - Key Account

We are looking for an experienced, self-driven and result-orientated Application Engineering Manager to join our growing Application Engineering Team in San José (CA). In this role, you will lead a team of Application Engineers in technical exchanges with the customer, promoting AT&S technologies and capabilities.

Your Responsibilites

• Act as a main point of contact for all technical matters related to the customer
• Ensure daily business as well as recognize, identify and communicate technical trends and needs
• Lead the local activities to meet customer satisfaction
• Understand, collect and maintain technical features and system demands from dedicated customers as well as overall potential market
• Conduct prelim feasibility checks, plant allocation, and calculations as well as identification of potential cost savings

Your Profile

• Technical education with a strong focus on engineering

• Min 4 years working experience within the electronics supply chain – either prior to PCB (e.g., Electronics design, Reliabilty, etc.) or after PCB (e.g., PCBA, DFM, Testing, Reliability, etc.)

• Strong customer and market orientation with the ability to recognize future trends

• Team-orientated with ability to communicate and interact with cross-functional teams and customers

• Strong leadership and project management skills

• Fluent in written and oral English (additional languages are a plus)
