Sales Engineer

 

 

Your responsibilities

  • Technical Interface between defined strategic customers and AT&S Plants
  • Coordination/Implementation of all tech. customer requirements within the AT&S Organization in order to ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Central position for new project release and tech. questions from customers
  • Main contact in all engineering topics (int. /ext.) for defined strategic customers
  • Provide tech. solutions and advise customers on a regular base.
  • Leader in tech. meetings with customers (presentations, discussions, …)
  • Responsible for tech. feasibility checks on new customer projects or inquiries
  • Technical allocation of new customer projects to the relevant plant within AT&S
  • Product calculations and preparation of tech. cost reduction proposals
  • Preparation/Cooperation of tech. requirements for specific products/new markets
  • Permanent optimization in order to increase profitability on customer projects 
  • Development of technical roadmap (customer and plant specific)
  • Joint work with R&D to realize future technologies
  • Maintain and permanently improve the overall engineering process between defined customer and AT&S

 

Your Profile

  • At least 3 -5 years of experience in the pcb/substrate industry
  • Leader in Projects to implement technical customer requirements
  • Functional leader for defined customers for product engineers in individual plants
  • PCB manufacturing know-how plus common limits
  • Substrate manufacturing know-how plus common limits
  • Technical education and Commercial understanding
  • Expert in HDI printed circuit board manufacturing in individual market segments such as Mobile devices and/or Substrates - ( Sales Engineer, Product Engineer )
  • Strong customer and market orientation to recognize and understand upcoming technology trends and connections
  • Fluent English, German and/or Chinese (would be an asset)
  • Strong team and social orientation
  • Good IT Skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Willingness for business trips
  • Must be authorized to work in the US (Green Card holder with valid work permit)
