Field Application Engineer - Seoul, Korea

As the Field Application Engineer, based out of Korea, you will act as the local technical interface and single point of contact for the customer, providing technical expertise in order to align on-going and/or future activities. 

Your Responsibilities

• Support all technical needs and establish the required organizational set up for proper communication channels
• Drive relationship management with opinion leaders and key decision-makers on the technical front
• Work on technical roadmapping and support daily business needs around various engineering concept stages, such as Capability Checks and Risk Assessments
• Support customer strategy
• Evaluate substrate market development

Your Profile

• BA or MA in Engineering paired with commercial knowledge and understanding
• 3-5+ years of experience in HDI PCB/Substrate industry in a Sales Engineer or Product Engineer role
• Experienced functional leader for defined customers for product engineers in individual plants
• Strong customer and market orientation with the ability to identify future trends and relationships
• Excellent English communication, presentation and negotiation skills
