Supplier Development Manager



  • Overall responsibility for the AT&S Supplier Development Strategy and Roadmap
  • Setting up and leading the new Supplier Development Organization both functionally and disciplinary
  • Responsible for Continuouse Improvement Program including capacity audit and verification, Productivity and waste-reduction workshops in order to meet AT&S requirements to suppliers;
  • Actively involved in the supplier performance evaluation process and risk management
  • Solution-based planning and execution of Supplier Development Programs and Projects in cross-functional teams within the AT&S and the external Suppliers
  • Ensuring valuable contribution to relevant AT&S global development programs by enriching, developing and empowering the AT&S Supplier Base
  • Acting as the global owner of key Supplier Developments for the most challenging Supply Chains
  • Supporting Global Procurement in reactive/proactive Development of Suppliers and Supply Chain partners
  • Regular Reporting of defined KPIs to Superior
  • Overall Budget and Cost Responsibility for the department


  • BA or MA degree in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar field
  • Minimum 5+ years’ work experience in a leading role in reactive/proactive Supplier Development in an international manufacturing company (preferably in the electronics industry)
  • Proven record of minimum 3+ years in a Leadership role of a multicultural, partially remote team
  • Long term experience in Project Management, Strategic Planning and Execution of Supplier Development (Lean, Six sigma project experience is highly preferred)
  • A structured, result-oriented and reliable work style with willingness to take ownership
  • Culturally sensible and charismatic leader, skilled in leading matrix and cross functional teams
  • Full English proficiency written and oral
  • Willingness to travel (once worldwide travelling regulations change)
